We welcome you to take advantage of the facilities and services we have that can help you in business planning and holding events.

Garrison Activity and Conference Center

Fall 2014 hours at the Garrison Center are from 8 a.m. to midnight Monday through Saturday and 1 p.m. to midnight each Sunday.

Aramark Classic Fare Catering

Aramark Classic Fare Catering provides a complete range of catering services for both on and off campus events. We will work with your budget to assist you in planning your event. Aramark Classic Fare Catering can easily accommodate groups from four to 400, and arrangements can also be made for larger groups – either in Arkadelphia or out of town. Aramark can provide everything, from doughnuts to formal dinners. In addition to food and beverages, we can provide wait staff, serving equipment, linens, china, silverware, and glassware for events. Themed event planning is available as well. Aramark will make your event memorable.

Community Education Center

The Henderson State University Community Education Center provides training opportunities to businesses, industries and individuals in Clark County and the surrounding area. These programs are created to enhance skills that will improve quality of life for area citizens, and assure a well-trained workforce that will enhance regional economic growth. The center collaborates with area universities, two-year colleges, specialized training providers and economic development organizations.

The center hosts a wide range of training opportunities from computer skills to welding and Programmable Logic Controller classes. In addition to courses offered at the Community Education Center, customized training classes can be created to fit any new or existing industry need. The 8000 square foot facility includes an 24 station computer lab, four classrooms, two additional meeting/conference rooms and a hands-on industrial maintenance shop.

Small Business and Technology Development Center

The Henderson State University Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) offers the public an access point to a national network of more than 1,000 small business development center offices. These offices provide training, research, and consulting services to existing and potential business owners. Regular workshops are offered to the public at the SBTDC office on the first floor of Mooney Hall. As the largest small business assistance program in the United States, the SBTDC network is an invaluable service to new business owners and those looking to network. The center operates as a regional office of the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center.
