Wind Ensemble presents concert

Wind Ensemble presents concert

Henderson State University’s Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Steve Knight, will present its final concert of the spring semester at 7:30 p.m. April 19 in Arkansas Hall. The concert will feature renowned international trumpet soloist Rex Richardson.

The program includes:

  • George Washington Bridge by William Schuman
  • Freedom of Movement by Andy Scott, featuring Richardson and guest conductor Dr. Shaun R. Popp
  • 3 World Winds by Allen Vizzutti, featuring Richardson
  • Colonial Song by Percy Grainger
  • Shepherd’s Hey by Percy Grainger

The concert is free and open to the public. It can also be viewed live online at http://ustre.am/2zr8.
