Wind Ensemble concert April 19

Henderson State University’s Wind Ensemble will perform the music of Arkansas composers at its concert on April 19. The program, entitled “Arkansas Travelers: A Tribute to Composers of the Natural State,” starts at 7:30 p.m. in Arkansas Hall. The public is invited.

The free concert will feature music by Clifton Williams, Steven Bryant, William Grant Still, W. Francis McBeth, and Henderson’s own Phillip Schroeder.

Dr. Shaun R. Popp is director of the Wind Ensemble.
