Trustees select Moore as chairman

Henderson State University’s Board of Trustees selected Little Rock City Manager Bruce Moore as its new chairman during the board’s regular meeting Feb. 9.

Moore, a 1989 graduate of Henderson, has served on the board since 2000. His current term will expire in 2021.

Deborah Nolan of Arkadelphia was elected vice chairwoman. She had previously served as the board’s secretary. Nolan has been a trustee since 2012.

Johnny Hudson of Little Rock, who was reappointed to the board in 2016, is the new secretary.
