Symphony, Concert bands perform Dec. 1

Henderson State University’s Symphony and Concert bands will perform at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1 in Arkansas Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.

 The Symphony Band’s program includes Poet and Peasant Overture by Franz von Suppe/Henry Fillmore, In the Bleak Midwinter by Gustav Holst/R.W. Smith, and March for Peace by Edwin Franko Goldman.

 The Concert Band will perform Waterdance by Carl Strommen, Sheltering Sky by John Mackey, and The Cave You Fear by Michael Markowski.
