STEM Center to host design camp
Students entering grades 7-9 will have the opportunity July 11-13 to learn about engineering design as Henderson State University’s STEM Center presents “Reddie, Set, Design.”
Students will participate in three days of design challenges that will engage their engineering potential and creativity. Labs and activities will teach them about microbiology, chemistry, and physics.
The knowledge students learn in the labs will be used to build their design challenges for presentation on the camp’s last day.
Participating students will attend camp each day from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Reynolds Science Center. Lunch is provided in the Henderson dining facility. The cost to attend is $65.
