Spring movie schedule announced
Henderson State University has announced its spring 2016 movie series featuring many of the year’s top films.
The free movies are open to the public and will be shown in the Garrison Center Lecture Hall.
“This is a very inexpensive way for people to see top movies in a great atmosphere,” said Chad Fielding, assistant vice president for student affairs.
Student organizations sometimes sell inexpensive concessions, but moviegoers can bring their own snacks, Fielding said.
The movies will be shown on Wednesdays and Fridays, with double features on some evenings. There are two Sunday matinees. Many of the movies are rated PG or PG-13, but some are rated R, which means no one under 17 will be admitted unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
