School of Business presents awards, scholarships

Henderson State University’s School of Business held its annual awards banquet and Hall of Fame induction on April 21. James Barnes, a Henderson graduate and founder of BBA Solutions, was inducted into the School of Business Hall of Fame.
BBA Solutions is a Little Rock-based company with more than seven divisions, including Textbook Brokers and other brands that make up the fourth largest textbook retailer in the United States.
In 1997, Barnes opened the Reddie or Not Bookstore in Arkadelphia. The company now has more than 100 retail locations across 24 states, including Henderson’s Reddie Bookstore.
Barnes’s induction followed several awards and scholarships presented to Henderson business students:
