Renovations under way at Huie Library

January 12, 2017 by Susie Kirk

Improvements are under way in Henderson State University’s Huie Library building. Powers of Arkansas is in the process of installing thermostats, which should bring better climate control to the library.

On Jan. 16, the second floor will close for an estimated 12 days for the installation of new carpet. Classes begin on Jan. 18.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause,” said library director Lea Ann Alexander. “We are setting up a system to retrieve second floor materials our patrons may need.”
