Miss HSU Pageant Feb. 16
Eight Henderson State University students will vie for the title of Miss HSU 2017 at 7 p.m. Feb. 16 in Arkansas Hall. The pageant will feature swimsuit, evening gown, and talent competitions, and is a preliminary event for the Miss Arkansas Pageant.
The 2017 contestants are:
• Cinnamon Maxwell, a sophomore social science education major from Pine Bluff.
• Jeana Lovett, a freshman pre-med biology major from Waldron.
• Parker Hutson, a junior mass media major from Hot Springs.
• Adrienne Prince, a sophomore accounting major from Glen Rose.
• Skyla Weeks, a sophomore psychology major from Highland.
• Olivia Moore, a sophomore biology major from Gurdon
• Ashley Marx, a junior English major from Texarkana, Arkansas.
• Arielle Michael, a junior pre-pharmacy major from Bismarck.
Entertainment will be provided by 2016 Miss HSU Mariah Brown, Miss Arkansas Savannah Skidmore, Dennis Blackerby, Marshall Fry, Jennifer Wright, and members of the HSU Dance Company.
Former Miss HSU Brittney Humphrey will serve as host. Admission is free and open to the public.
