Kreckmann to serve on choral faculty in France

Dr. Andrew Kreckmann, director of choral activities and assistant professor of choral conducting and music education at Henderson State University, will serve on the conducting faculty for University of Delaware’s Summer Choral Academy and Symposium in Aix-en-Provence, France, June 23-July 13.

Kreckmann will serve as conducting professor to young choral scholars and graduate students. One of those students will be Tanner Oglesby, a junior music education major at Henderson State.

Oglesby, who is from Arkadelphia, was successfully recommended for the program, Kreckmann said.

Kreckmann will also serve as guest conductor April 17 in Dallas for Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass. Orchestra members from the Dallas and Fort Worth Symphonies, along with community and professional singers from the metro-Dallas area will perform.
