Jeana Lovett, a junior pre-med biology major from Waldron, was crowned 2018 Miss Henderson State University March 8. Lovett also won the award for community service. She will now prepare to compete in the Miss Arkansas Pageant this summer.
Jessica Nicosia of Arkadelphia was first runner-up. Nicosia also received the Overall Lifestyle and Fitness Award, People’s Choice Award, and HSU Instagram Award. Suzanne Sorrells of Amity was second runner-up winning the Academic Award and Violet Fields Instagram Award. Adrienne Prince of Glen Rose was third runner-up, and Lavonica Powell of Foreman was fourth runner-up.
Kaili Pridgen of Strong was named Miss Congeniality. Robin Campbell of Pine Bluff was the Overall Talent winner. And Heather Jackson of Caddo Gap was awarded Spirit of Miss HSU.
More than $10,000 in scholarships and awards was presented.
