Henderson State University’s Symphony Band, under the direction of Dr. Shaun Popp, will present its first concert of the spring semester Sunday, March 11, at 3 p.m. in Arkansas Hall.
The program, entitled Legacies, will feature the music of notable composers including Alfred Reed, Percy Grainger, J.S. Bach, Leroy Anderson, John Philip Sousa and David Maslanka.
The concert is free and open to the public. It can also be viewed online via Facebook Live at www.facebook.com/HSUBand.
On Monday, March 12, Henderson’s Concert Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. in Arkansas Hall.
