Henderson welcomes new faculty, staff

Henderson State University welcomed 22 new faculty and 23 new staff members for the 2017 fall term, which began Aug. 22.

The new faculty includes:

  • Trudi Sabaj, RN to BSN completion program director and assistant professor of nursing
  • Bradley Sullivan, director of Educational Renewal Zone
  • Jane Adams, lecturer of business
  • Shanice Armstrong, assistant professor of counselor education
  • Judy Carlyle, assistant professor nursing
  • Tiffany Carter, lecturer of English
  • Thomas Copeland, assistant professor of history
  • Barbara Hansen, assistant professor sociology
  • Jimmy Heffington, assistant professor of geography
  • Bryon Martin, assistant professor of recreation
  • Cheryl Massey, instructor of family and consumer sciences
  • Scott McKinnon, instructor of communication
  • Patricia Poblete, assistant professor of English
  • John Price, assistant professor of communication
  • Julie Quast, assistant professor of curriculum and instruction
  • Charles Rook, instructor of aviation
  • Constanze Weise, assistant professor of history
  • Jessica Allen, TK20 Unit administrator/instructor, Teachers College
  • Michael Loos, assistant professor of counselor education
  • Brian George, assistant librarian for electronic resources and web
  • Jena Gardner, instructor of horn and music theory
  • Steve Listopad, lecturer of mass media communication

  • Peter Maus, assistant baseball coach/head JV baseball coach
  • Vivian Jones, administrative specialist I, office of registrar
  • Jessica Sabey, assistant volleyball coach
  • Lindsey Weston, college readiness coach
  • Kelly Stewart, administrative specialist III, multimedia learning center
  • Morgan McDermott, staff athletic trainer
  • Brittney Laughard, payroll technician
  • Tiffany Rogers, executive director of Hot Springs Academic Initiatives
  • Sean Mock, assistant men’s basketball coach
