Henderson says ‘no’ to hate

August 29, 2017 by Steve Fellers

Henderson State faculty, staff and students gathered in front of Arkansas Hall Aug. 29 to speak out against hate and celebrate human value and difference, a core value of the university. “The purpose of the event was to celebrate what unites us and remind everyone that our goal is to have a university where all people are welcome,” said Dr. Fred Worth, who helped organize the event. Many who attended signed a poster at the conclusion of the gathering to pledge their opposition to hateful attitudes and actions.
