Henderson State University has named Tina Hall as its executive director of marketing and communications. Hall, who previously served as senior director of strategic communications at Heifer International, joined Henderson Jan. 17.
“I am proud to have Tina join our team at Henderson State,” said Vice President for University Advancement Jennifer Boyett. “Her 20 years of experience leading communications teams and building brand awareness as well as her knowledge of the campus as an alumnus will help us share the story of Henderson.”
Hall will serve as Henderson’s chief marketing and communications officer, and will plan and direct Henderson’s marketing and communications activities, including public relations, media relations, website development, social media and creative services. She also will serve as the university’s spokesperson.
A graduate of Henderson State, Hall received her B.A. in English in 1996. She earned her Master of Arts in journalism from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1998.
“Henderson State is a special place for me, and I am honored to share the amazing stories of our students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends,” Hall said.
In her role at Heifer International, Hall provided leadership for brand management, public relations, executive and internal communication. Before joining Heifer, Hall worked as a journalist, graphic designer, communications specialist/manager, and marketing director.
