Dunn receives fellowship

Dr. Maryjane Dunn, assistant professor of Spanish at Henderson State University, recently received this year’s George Greenia Fellowship in Pilgrimage Studies from the College of William and Mary’s Institute for Pilgrimage Studies (http://www.wm.edu/sites/pilgrimage/).

Dunn, along with her colleague Dr. Lynn Talbot of Roanoke College submitted a request for funding for a web-based database of texts related to the Camino de Santiago titled Reading the Camino.

The database is designed to create a readily accessible source for primary texts relating to the Camino de Santiago de Compostela. Both professors saw the need for this resource in their courses, and their work will be accessible for other professors who study or teach in this area.
