Choirs to present holiday concert Dec. 3

November 17, 2017 by Henderson State

Henderson State University’s Department of Music will present the University Chorale and Concert Choir in concert at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 3 at First United Methodist Church in Arkadelphia.

“Please join us, as well as professional chamber strings, brass, percussion and organ, as we welcome in the Christmas and holiday seasons,” said Dr. Andrew Kreckmann, director of choral activities.

The program will feature Bach’s Cantata Nun komm der Heiden Heiland (BWV 61), excerpts from Handel’s Messiah, Randol Bass’s Gloria, and Jonathon Dove’s Ring Out, Wild Bells (from “The Passing of the Year”).

The concert is free and open to the public.
