Rikki Bethea, a senior BFA digital art and design student at Henderson State University, will present her senior exhibition show, entitled Slice of Life, Oct. 6 through Oct. 16.
The exhibit can be viewed at the second floor gallery of Huie Library. A reception is planned Oct. 16 from 2-4 p.m.
Bethea has studied with art professors Katherine Strause, David Stoddard, and Mike Taylor. Slice of Life is a mixture of traditional hand-lettering, watercolor, and digital editing.
“It’s all about me,” Bethea said. “Slice of Life includes snippets of my daily life and the things I enjoy doing in a graphic novel format.”
