Annual Carol of Lights program Dec. 7

Henderson State University will present the annual Carol of Lights holiday program on Monday, Dec. 7. The sidewalks of the south lawn will be lined with hundreds of luminaries, creating a beautiful seasonal scene.

The festivities will begin at 6 p.m. in Arkansas Hall and will feature music by the children from Davis-Baker Preschool, the Angelic Voices of Christ, Henderson Brass Quintet, local school choirs, and dance groups. Dr. David Thomson will recite The Night Before Christmas, and an appearance by Santa Claus is anticipated. A reception will follow the program.

The event is free and open to the public.
